Chamomile grows wild in Europe and west Asia, and related species are found in North America and Africa. The Romans, the Greeks, the Egyptians and Arabs used it for everything from a headache and indigestion to a sleep aid or relaxing tea reminiscent of apples. Its use has continued throughout time in Europe and later in America. Its flowers help to ease indigestion, nervousness, depressions and headaches, being ideal for emotion related problems such as peptic ulcers, colitis, spastic colon and nervous indigestion.
